Imaging Access

Several imaging tests are usually done in the investigation of blood cancers. These test are important in the diagnosis and staging of blood cancers as well as monitoring the treatment. The imaging test that may be ordered include:
  • Ultrasound scan
  • Computed Tomography (CT) scan
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan
Your doctor will order for the test necessary to arrive at a diagnosis of your condition. Some of these investigations may be quite exorbitant and may not be covered by your health insurance.
